Rheem Solar Hot Water
With Australia's abundant sunshine it makes great sense to get your hot water FREE from the sun. With a Rheem Solar Water Heater you can enjoy big savings in your energy bills and reduce your greenhouse gas emissions. Rheem Solar Hot Water heaters use up to 50-90%* less energy than conventional electric water heaters.
Using less energy means you can make big savings on your hot water energy costs. So even though you’ll be using the same amount of water that you used with a conventional water heater, a Rheem uses much less energy to heat the water.
Thanks to all the available government rebates and incentives available, having a Rheem Solar Hot Water system installed can cost not much more than an electric water heater. And with all the energy costs you’ll be saving, a Rheem can pay for itself within 5 years and then you'll have free hot water thereafter.
Imagine the savings in your energy bills EVERY YEAR. And as energy costs continue to rise, you'll be very glad you made the switch to solar.
Rheem offer a comprehensive range of Solar Hot Water comprising both roof (Hiline) and ground mounted tanks (Loline) with tank sizes ranging from 160 to 300 litres.
All of our Rheem Solar Hot Water systems are guaranteed Frost Protected and use highly efficient heat transferring properties of a special anti-freeze fluid to transfer the absorbed energy to heat the water indirectly. The benefit of this 'indirect' heat exchange process is that the system can be used confidently in frost areas, without risking damage to the system.
What if the sun isn't shinning?
All Rheem Solar Hot Water heaters are fitted with an electric in-tank booster, which operates only when you need it. Or you can choose to have an in-line gas booster that only heats water when you use it. This means you can enjoy hot water when you want it, even on overcast days or at night.

Reduce Your Greenhouse Gas Emissions
Water heating is the biggest single contributor to an Australian household carbon footprint, accounting for an average of 25% of the typical home's greenhouse gas emissions. By replacing a conventional electric water heater with a Rheem you can reduce your CO2 emissions by as much as 3 tonnes each year, that's like taking a 4 cylinder car off the road.
With hot water free from the sun, you’ll reduce your impact on climate change and make a positive step for future generations.
Government Rebates and Incentives
Because they are so good for the environment, government rebates and incentives are available to help you make the switch to a Rheem Solar Hot Water System. Depending on your circumstances and which country you live in you could replace your electric water heater with a Rheem for not much more than a conventional water heater.
